I remember the first time I had to write a Kickstart file. It was a painful experience. I tried to understand what the various keywords meant. Each attempt led me to a syntax error message. Documentation was difficult to find.

Allowed time: 5 minutes.
Create two users "tom" and "engine". "tom" has the UID/GID 3000 and "engine" the UID/GID 4000. "engine" doesn't have an interactive shell.

RHCE7: Task of the day

Allowed time: 8 minutes.
Set up an iScsi target based on a fileio backstore of 100MB called /opt/shareddata with CHAP authentication (username=usr/password=pwd), xfs filesystem and standard firewall configuration.
