RHEL 10 has been recently released.
Here are some aspects of it:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Lightspeed is an AI-powered service that uses decades of RHEL-specific expertise to simplify the RHEL experience.
- The AIDE system role, a new system role that handles installation and configuration of the popular Advanced Intrusion Detection Environment (AIDE) Linux security tool, simplifies database initialization and updates, as well as AIDE integrity checks.
- Red Hat provides new fully integrated and fully supported RHEL images for each hyperscaler‘s environment.
- New tools and features are provided (PHP 8.3, NGINX 1.26, Git 2.47, Maven 3.9, MySQL 8.4, etc) for developers.
- Domain name system (DNS) encryption is now available.
- Post-quantum cryptography is there to prepare the future.
- Image mode for RHEL allows users to deploy and manage systems using container images as the source of installation, update and upgrade, even between major versions.
