SYS: Boot systems into different runlevels manually.

Switch on a physical server or a virtual machine (in this case, type: # virsh start vm).
Press ‘a‘ at the first GRUB menu at the console.

Type the chosen run level (single, 1, 2, 3, 5) at the end of the line.
