SYS: Update the kernel package appropriately to ensure a bootable system.

To install a new kernel package (don’t use the -U option which replaces the current kernel instead of adding it to the boot menu), type:

# rpm -ivh kernel.rpm

Check the boot configuration:

# more /boot/grub/grub.conf
