RHEL7: How to install the Anku repository.

The Anku repository provides packages for the CentOS and Fedora distributions. It focuses on web softwares.

There is a list of the available packages in the Anku 7 repository.

Installation Procedure

To install the Anku 7 repository, type:

# yum install -y "http://anku.ecualinux.com/7/x86_64/anku-release-8-1.noarch.rpm"

The Anku 7 repository consists of 1 channel:

  • anku: this is the main repository; it is enabled by default.

Note: Packages are not signed.

Activation/Deactivation Procedure

To permanently enable a channel (use the –disable option to disable), type:

# yum-config-manager --enable channel

To only enable a channel during a package installation, type:

# yum --enablerepo=channel install package
